Tom Sechler is the CEO and member of the board of Iron Data which provides Intelligent Process Management software and solutions to customers in the federal government, state and local government and leading commercial companies including many in the Fortune 500 with complex supply chains. IPM solutions range from large, complex case management systems to advanced BPM solutions for licensing, regulation and other government functions to transportation spend management systems that fuse BPM and analytic technologies. Tom brings a track record of leading and growing businesses that serve the federal government with advanced IT solutions.
Before joining Iron Data, Sechler most recently ran the Homeland & Civilian Solutions Business Area for BAE Systems. Prior to BAE, Tom was a Senior Vice President at DigitalNet and the Chief Operating Officer of User Technology Associates, both leading software and solutions providers to the federal government. He served on active duty in the U.S. Coast Guard as an officer and aviator. He is a graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and has a MS in Industrial Administration from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University and a MS in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces at the National Defense University.
Klopfer oversees the financial operations and the merger and acquisitions for Iron Data. He has over 16 years of experience in public accounting and tax law, primarily with Deloitte & Touche focusing on middle market businesses and business owners. He has been involved in all of Iron Data's acquisition and financing transactions since its inception.
Klopfer is a CPA in California and is licensed by the Bar of California.
Prior to his arrival at Iron Data, Jerry Rau served in various Executive positions at RedPrairie stemming from July of 2002. In the most recent role at RedPrairie, Rau served as EVP of Product and Corporate Marketing, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. Additional responsibilities included Channel and Alliances, as well as the Mergers & Acquisitions portfolio.
Prior to RedPrairie, Rau was employed at i2 Technologies from May 1998 through to July 2002. Rau served as Global VP of Field Operations, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of i2 Technologies.
In previous positions at i2, Rau was VP of Sales Operations for the Transportation Team, responsible for all Presales, Channels and Sales Operations. Additionally Rau has led the M&A Integration Team efforts for i2 through the InterTrans, SMART Technologies, Supplybase, Aspect Development, Trade Services and Rightworks acquisitions. In his various roles at i2, Rau has served as part of both the i2 Executive Team as well as the Office of the CEO.
Prior to joining i2, Rau was the VP Sales for InterTrans Logistics Solutions. At Loomis Courier Service, Rau held numerous positions including VP & GM of Central Canada and VP Business Development. In addition, Rau has held various line and staff positions at Day & Ross Inc (Day & Ross, Sameday/ROW, Bustrax) and Canadian Pacific Ltd. (Treasury and the Express & Transport Division)
Rau has an MBA from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Brock Philp is the President of Iron Data's Licensing and Regulation division. He is responsible for marketplace expansion and overall corporate operations. This includes business strategy, product direction and profitability. He brings to this position 24 years of business experience with a proven track record of successful leadership. His professional assets include account management, business to business marketing, operations management, sales management, leadership and people development and global business skills.
Prior to joining Versa Systems, Philp served as the CEO of Jonas Software which is a division of Constellation Software. His past positions include: Vice President of Business Development, CGI (Outsourcing, Systems Integration); Vice President of Global Sales, Minacom (Quality Assurance Software); General Manager at Bell Canada. He has also held key roles at Lucent Canada and St. Lawrence Cement.
Shawn McCoy is Executive Vice President of Corporate Development. His primary focus is on federal market business development, corporate strategy to enable large scale opportunities, M&A, and channel partner development. Shawn is a seasoned and successful executive with 25 years of experience in the federal marketplace. During his career he has grown and managed both product and services businesses through multiple acquisitions, and has developed and implemented strategies that led to significant growth in existing and new markets.
Prior to joining Iron Data, Shawn held senior operations and business development roles including VP at BAE Systems, Division General Manager at EDO Corporation, VP of Business Development at BETAC Corporation, and management positions in both marketing and engineering at Lockheed Martin. Shawn has been directly involved with a wide range of offerings including financial and business consulting; intelligence processing and analysis; radar and acoustic sensors; and numerous information technology systems and services. Shawn served on active duty as a Naval Intelligence Officer and has a BA and MBA from Arizona State University.
As a proven leader and innovator, Smock co-founded and built Iron Data from the ground up into one of the leading providers of Intelligent Process Management software and services for the Transportation and Public Sector markets. Through his leadership, Iron Data has steadily grown its clientele, which now includes multiple Fortune 100 companies and over 100 state and local government agencies.
Prior to starting Iron Data, Smock was the founder and Chief Executive Officer for LightNetworks, Inc., a regional telecommunications provider. Smock grew the company from a fledgling start-up to a premier provider in the southeast with more than 300 employees. In July of 2000, Smock engineered the sale of LightNetworks, Inc. to Network Telephone Corporation of Pensacola, Florida.
An established process design and operational specialist, Coles is responsible for all day-to-day technical and R&D operations within the company. As a co-founder of Iron Data, he has been instrumental in establishing the company's service centers, its business processes & procedures, as well as the technical integration of all acquired companies. In addition to these duties, Coles oversees all Information Technology related initiatives, including product development, system design, implementation, and process and program management.
Coles' extensive experience stems from his position at LightNetworks, Inc. where he led the initiative to develop the telecommunication provider's operational support system (OSS) and back office service center.
Coles received his degree in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University.
